They did show some of the presscon for Imortal but can't figure out why questions for John Lloyd Cruz had to be on the publicity relationships yet again - redundancy but hey that's the show there so ok no problem really except it might be kinda killing some momentum for the show.

Sometimes it's laziness not to discuss just the show and pick up on stale publicity news so it's a relief that Angel Locsin had none of that.  Not that we don't like Luis but you know if the show's doing well the best thing to actually do is discuss the show and its stars.



For instance hit movies and TV series abroad do a lot to discuss the show and how the story runs maybe a review of the characters will help especially for newbies who failed to catch the first week.

Sometimes it helps when a show is really watched because of the very interesting plot subplots etc not merely the actors and their acting which should actually be there.

Maybe as a fan I'm satisfied with just that.  Angel being her best in her role but then again its really great to watch also a well made series since we want it capturing a huge foreign market too the better for Angel of course.

It's always about interesting universal story lines that make hit TV series so let's take it from there that what they wish to show is something very interesting for every viewer.

Angel Locsin dates Luis Manzano exclusively

John Lloyd Cruz Visits Angel Locsin's Resthouse

John Lloyd Cruz shared with SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon) last night that he had visited Angel Locsin's rest house in Batangas by accident. He finds working with Angel exciting and fun to be with. They talked about different things like work and subjects outside showbiz. John Lloyd shared that he learned a lot from Angel because she is knowledgeable about various subjects including work and non-work related. John Lloyd is also proud of Angel in winning the Sexiest Woman title in a men's magazine.

Despite of the big crowd flocking to the Ninoy Aquino Stadium to watch the PBB Double Up Finale last Saturday night, the 'Litrato' episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) special Valentine presentation starred by Angel Locsin with Jake Cuenca is still a winner garnering 35.1% nationwide from TNS and 21.9% in mega Manila from AGB Nielsen Philippines, placing MMK at the 2nd spot among programs shown at primetime.

This is the video of Angel's guesting at E-Live last Saturday. It cracked me up when Angel first reacted on Vhong's comment, "I am Lucky to have you" than about Vhong himself. I suppose by now, my regular visitors are already aware that I like Luis Manzano for Angel :)

I initially didn't plan to blog more about shop and share because I think I posted too many about the same topic already but then I want to push down the article I just posted because the video is crowding the shout box hee.

Anyway, I like how this article is written so it is worth re-posting here. I like the idea of Angel pursuing dotcom entrepreneurship. Lately, published articles kept on repeating the same story.

I found quite disturbing the report from STIR about the lack of attendance by stars from ABS-CBN. Most of the celebrities who attended the event are from Angel Locsin's and Anne Curtis' old network. Hmmmmm.

LAST Saturday night, I attended the launch of Shop and Share (http://www.shopandshare.ph). What caught my attention about this project was finding celebrities Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis taking the lead, and doing so for the purpose of raising funds, to sustain the efforts of helping our countrymen recover from the destruction caused by typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng.

Locsin and Curtis approached more than 50 high-profile celebrity friends to donate valuable items sold through the eBay marketplace worldwide. Payments were processed through Paypal.

The idea was for celebrities to help not just by contributing monetary aid but also by giving up some of their prized collections. One hundred percent of the net sales proceeds will be donated to the Philippine Red Cross. Aside from allocating funds for relief, the Red Cross plans to use the proceeds for rehabilitation works, including the rebuilding of houses and installation of livelihood programs for the millions affected.

Facebook and Twitter were sites used to market the products available through auction. Celebrities who have contributed to this endeavor include Ruffa Gutierrez, Kris Aquino, Kim Chiu, Maxene Magalona, Marian Rivera, Dingdong Dantes, Piolo Pascual, John Lloyd Cruz, Pokwang, and true-to-life Ondoy hero Gerald Anderson. Sports icon Manny Pacquiao is also giving his share to this effort.

Collections available include Kris Aquino’s designer bags, Manny Pacquiao’s authographed gloves, Ogie Alcasid’s Gundam Robot, and even Angel Locsin’s Darna statuette.

Less than a month after its launch, the site generated more than $15,000 worth of sales already.

The whole effort was also made possible with the help of experts, including eBay specialist Eireen Diokno-Bernardo, who is helping to bring the shop to an international eBay audience (that has more than 88 million buyers and sellers).

It is great to see the Philippine National Red Cross getting all the technology and community help it can get. Seeing the likes of Dennis Mendiola, Chikka.com’s chief imagination officer and Red Cross governor, gives bright hope on how the organization can explore its potential further in mobilizing Filipinos to help those who are in need.

Locsin and Curtis’ initiative with Shop and Share shows that anyone with a passion and heart for e-commerce can really make a difference and even a name for themselves.

I won’t be surprised if these two lovely celebrities will become full-fledged online entrepreneurs in the future. I hope they will be known as celebrities-turned-dotcom entrepreneurs.

Angel Locsin says Luis Manzano will always have a special place in her heart

Sa isang maikling panayam sa SNN nito lamang October 19, matapang na sinagot ni Luis Manzano ang mga intrigang pilit pa ring nagli-link sa kanila ng dati niyang kasintahang si Angel Locsin. Kaugnay ng nasabing panayam, nabanggit rin ng naturang aktor na sa kabila ng sinapit ng relasyon nila ng aktres ay nananatili pa ring mayroong nakalaang espesyal na puwang ang dalaga sa puso niya.

At matapos nga ang matagal na pananahimik, kanina sa SNN ay nagsalita na rin si Angel kaugnay ng naturang isyu. Hindi na itinanggi ng dalaga ang muling pagbabalik ng komunikasyon sa pagitan nila ni Luis lalo na nang mag-umpisa ang proyekto nila ni Anne Curtis na Shop and Share para sa mga nasalanta ng mga nagdaang bagyo. Angel hindi na masagot kung mahal pa si Luis

Para kay Angel Locsin, welcome ang anumang tulong na ibibigay ni Luis Manzano sa kanyang proyekto para sa mga biktima ng bagyong Ondoy at Pepeng.

Ayon kay Angel, walang problema sa kanya kung nais tumulong o mag-donate ni Luis sa Shop and Share project nila ni Anne Curtis.

Aniya, kung sino raw ang gustong mag-donate at magbigay ng kanilang pledges, bukal sa loob nilang ta-tanggapin para sa ikauunlad ng kanilang adhikain.

Kinumusta si Angel ang SNN (Showbiz News Nga-yon) tungkol sa kanilang da-lawa ni Luis pero paiwas pa rin ang sagot ng dalaga.

May mga tsika kasing four months na palang hiwalay sina Angel at Luis pero hindi lang daw mas-yadong napag-usapan until finally ay lumabas ang isyung nagkakalabuan na sila.

Nang tanungin si Angel kung mahal pa rin niya si Luis, sinabi nitong, “Naku, mukhang mahirap yatang sagutin ‘yan.”

Alam kasi ni Angel, na halatang umiiwas, na baka ma-misinterpret na naman ng marami ang kanyang isasagot.

Aminado naman si Angel na hindi mawawala ang concern niya para kay Luis lalo pa’t may pinagsamahan sila ng TV host.

Dahil kahit naghiwalay sila ng landas ay sinikap nilang manahimik at hindi ‘yung tipong nagtalakan pa sa media.

Ipinagmalaki rin ni Angel ang pag-donate ni Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao ng kanyang kauna-unahang boxing shoes at jersey na nasuot na niya sa isang laban niya sa abroad.

Ayon pa kay Angel, maging siya ay balak mag-bid sa idinonate ni Pacman dahil mahalagang remembrance daw iyon galing sa isang Manny Pacquiao.

Angel says it's over between her, Luis

MANILA – Actress Angel Locsin has finally put all speculations to rest after admitting that the break-up rumors involving her and Luis Manzano were in fact true.

During the 25th anniversary of women’s group Gabriela, Locsin said she and Manzano rarely communicates ever since the split.

“Parang weird naman kung lagi pa din kaming nag-uusap. Kasi parang nag-break pa kami kung lagi din pala kaming mag-uusap,” Locsin said.

She confessed that she missed what she and the actor had. “Makulit kasi siya talaga [kaya] nakaka-miss din.”

She added that Manzano will always have a special place in her heart.

She said: “Siyempre may pinagsamahan din kami. Iba din ang pinagsamahan namin. Pero may mga bagay pang dapat ayusin.”

Asked if it’s true that Manzano is wooing her again, Locsin replied: “Siya na lang siguro ang dapat magsalita, kung kailan niya gustong magsalita.”

The “Only You” star also said that she is in no hurry to find love.

“I’m very happy at medyo ang dami kong pinagkakaabalahan ngayon,” Locsin added.

KUNG ngayon ang pagbabasehan, malabung-malabo na mag-reconcile sina Rachelle Ann Go at Gab Valenciano.

Obvious na masakit, lalo on the part of Rachelle Ann, ang naging dahilan ng paghihiwalay nila, which is the exact opposite sa kasalukuyang namamagitan sa another estranged couple, sina Luis Manzano at Angel Locsin.

According to Angel, Luis was among the celebrities na pinadalhan nila ni Anne Curtis ng solicitation letter for their Shop and Share project for the victims of Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng.

Luis, in turn, sent them several items, some even mga bago.

Angel and Anne plan to turn over whatever amount they have generated from the project to the Philippine National Red Cross.

They think it’s the proper agency that would know kung ano ang pangangailangan ng mga biktima.

Angel doubts, though, kung ang usapang reconciliation will happen between her and Luis. She thinks mas mabuti kung maging magkaibigan muna sila.

Meanwhile, the actress announced na sa January, magsisimula na siyang mag-siyuting for her movie with Aga Muhlach under director Olive Lamasan.

Inusisa namin ang tungkol sa split nila ni Luis.

“Yes, four months na kaming wala ni Luis and I don’t want to elaborate kung ano man ang naging dahilan ng aming paghihiwalay. Basta, ang importante ay alam naming masaya kami sa aming mga ginagawa sa ngayon,” esplika ni Angel.

“Actually, panay ang padala niya ng tulong sa grupo namin, ang Shop and Share, ng mga gamit na bago pa talaga. Makikita mong hindi gamit kaya nga tuwang- tuwa ako sa kanya.” Nag-donate ng dalawang mamahaling relo si Luis. “Yung isa, bago talaga at parang binili yata niya iyon para lang makapag-donate siya.”

Ayaw patawag ni Angel na superhero sa kabila ng mga kawanggawa niya. “Nakakahiya naman. Hindi naman ako superhero. Hindi ako bayani. Ang ginagawa ko lang ay bilang ako, ‘yun bang magaan sa dibdib ‘yung alam mong nakatutulong ka sa iyong kapwa at nakakapagpasaya ka ng mga taong nalulungkot. ‘Yun lang ay isang malaking achivement na sa akin.”

Sinabi ni Angel na totoong kinabahan siya nang muling magsalubong ng landas nila ni Luis sa ASAP. “Hindi ko alam kung nag-holding hands kami, hindi ko alam kung ano ang naging reaction ko. Basta, parang wala lang. Ayokong sabihing mahal ko pa si Luis. Siguro, mas makabubuti kong si Luis na lang ang tanungin ninyo kasi parang napaka- awkward naman kung magsasalita ako sa ganyang bagay.”
