[Awards] Angel Locsin Receives Award for Lobo in Malacanang Today

Angel Locsin along with Direk Cathy Garcia Molina received the Ani ng Dangal for Multimedia Award from NCAA (National Commission for Culture and the Art's) for Lobo today in Malacanang Palace's Rizal Hall. President Gloria Arroyo has been reported here to grace the affair to honor Filipino artists for upholding Filipino artistic excellence in the international stage.

As we previously reported here, Lobo won in 2009 Banff Word Television Festival in Canada and Angel Locsin earned an international recognition from Emmy awards as one of the 4 Best Actress finalists for her lead role in Lobo (The Wolf). Lobo has won also several awards locally.


The 2nd "Ani ng Dangal Awards" is organized by the NCAA in line with the celebration of the National Arts Month this February, as per Presidential Proclamation 683 of 1991.
