[News] Angel Locsin to Attend Emmy Awards in New York

I am happy that Angel Locsin has decided to attend the Emmy Awards. This might be a once in a lifetime experience and not everybody will be given this big opportunity. However, I am concerned that Angel will be paying for the trip. I wonder if Becky has asked ABS-CBN to sponsor this trip or this is simply her decision. I believe that ABS-CBN should sponsor this trip because this prestige is not only for Angel but for the TV station itself. If they are not going to cover this trip, they should at least pay Angel before airing the event in their shows and if I were her Manager, I will add a big markup to penalize ABS-CBN hehe.

Angel, Katrina to attend Emmys Award in New York

Angel Locsin will attend the 37th International Emmy Awards to be held this Nov. 23 at the Hilton New York Hotel in New York City where she’s nominated for Best Actress for her she-wolf role in “Lobo.” She’s going not with screen partner Piolo Pascual but with business manager Becky Aguila. They are paying for expenses (two-way tickets and hotel accommodations) and not producer Star Cinema.

Katrina Halili whose “Magdusa Ka” series is nominated for Telenovela category is also deadset to attend. So is director Maryo delos Reyes who plans to use the US trip to rest. He plans to watch musicals in Broadway.

It’s not immediately known if Jericho Rosales and Carmen Soo of “Kahit Isang Saglit” which is also nominated in the Telenovela category will also attend.
