For those who have been reading my conversation with Angeladik at the sidebar, you would know by now that I am not happy with Rico Blanco getting that major role in Imortal since he neither have the looks nor the screen presence as a worthy rival of John Lloyd's character for the affection of Angel Locsin's character. He might be very popular as a singer although I am not familiar with it, but it was still a surprise. Heard the director of Imortal, Chito Rono, used to manage Rico's old band so that's the connection perhaps why Rico bagged that meaty role. Based on the full teaser, Maricar's scene with John Lloyd looks more exciting as compared with Rico's scene with Angel.
