[News] Angel Locsin Explores Option with Viva?

The news about Angel Locsin possibly joining talents of Viva Entertainment has been a major topic of discussion in Internet forums and blogs [click here for the related story]. Today, the news centre has finally picked up the news. However, no additional information has been added so the source of the news may been taken also from the Internet. Oh well, you can decide whether you share my view as well.

Angel wants out of ABS?

AFTER Claudine Barretto, is it true the next ABS-CBN talent who's signing up with Viva Entertainment is Angel Locsin? It's said her manager, Becky Aguila, is now negotiating for a project with Viva as Star Cinema promised a new movie for Angel after "Only You" but it didn't materialize. Becky's other talent, Jennylyn Mercado, has also signed up with Viva for a movie project.

But Viva now seldom produces a movie solo. It's often co-produced with ABS, like Anne Curtis and Sarah Geronimo movies, or with GMA Films, like "Patient X" with Cristine Reyes, whose career they're also managing. So in all probability, Angel might just star in a movie co-produced by Viva and ABS-Star Cinema. We can't imagine her doing a movie with GMA, even if it's being bruited about that GMA really wants to pair her with Richard Gutierrez in his next Valentine movie since they've proven their box-office strength in past Valentine films like "Let the Love Begin" and "I Will Always Love You."

Here's another article from the same news centre where Angel's manager denies the alleged negotiation for her most popular ward with Viva Entertainment. I wonder how the Editor allowed the release of articles with conflicting information heee

In fact, may bago itong show sa ABS-CBN na lalabas ngayong October.

“It’s something new and we’re all excited na tinanggap niya ito,” sabi ni Tita Becky sa text message sa amin.

“She’s so busy with her charitable projects at kakaibang happiness and fulfillment ang nararamdaman niya kapag nakakapagbigay siya ng tulong,” say pa ni Tita Becky.
