Nina Dolino talks about Angel Locsin in Imortal

Nina Dolino considers getting a role in the primetime hit Imortal as her biggest acting break to date. The pretty actress said she auditioned for the role of Clarisse Zaragosa, a powerful woman who is heiress apparent in the Taong Lobo world.

Nina cites her scenes with Vivian Velez (who plays her mother Lucille Zaragosa) and Angel Locsin (Lia Ortega) as the most difficult to do. “Pinakamahirap lagi for me yung mga dramatic scenes naming mag-ina, kasi siyempre emotional yun tapos yung scenes namin ni Angel din. Kasi being a kontrabida takes so much energy and focus physically and mentally nakakapagod yung mga scenes namin ni Angel kasi ako yung laging mataray so ganyan. Although lagikong iniisip I could’ve done better, ganyan,” she said.

Nina also shares that she has nothing but praise for Imortal’s two lead stars. “Si Angel super nakakagulat kasi iisipin mo, talagang iba siya, very down-to-earth. Siya pa yung unang kakausap sayo, kakamustahin ka. Which for me was very surprising at the beginning kasi iba siya dun sa iba and minsan makwe-question mo na ‘weh, seryoso ba ito, totoo ba ito?’ Pero totoo kasi consistent siya. So nakakagulat. As an actress, talagang marami ka ring matututunan lalo na kapag may eksena kaming dalawa, lalo na ‘pag mahirap yung scene.  Read more here
