Angel Locsin at the International Scene

What sets Angel Locsin apart from her contemporaries?

Angel's iEmmy nomination for best actress for her sterling portrayal as 'Lyka' in Lobo is a feat that is difficult to duplicate.

In fact, Angel is the first Filipina that received an iEmmy nomination for best actress.  Despite ABS-CBN's press release that Angel was the second Filipina that received that nomination, our extensive research of iEmmy and US Emmy databases invalidates that claim.  Click our story here.

I believe I have already blogged almost all stories related to Angel's iEmmy last year.  For those who missed them, click here.  You should get several pages of iEmmy related stories with photos and videos.

With this international recognition, Angel will always be at the forefront among her local contemporaries at the international scene.

When Angel penetrated the international scene, Twilight Angels followed closely her journey to the iEmmy read carpet and we made a mark too.  Actually, I only saw this site by chance last week while checking out some news update on Angel.  This is the site that interviewed Angel and other celebrities at the iEmmy red carpet with regards to their beauty secret.  To read our stories that caught their attention, click here.

Moving on to Twitter, for those who have not yet joined the bandwagon, I would encourage you to do so.  If you think this is just another fad, I believe otherwise.  What I like best about Twitter is its ability in breaking down the communication barrier between the masses and celebrities.  Now there is a site called Giant Red Carpet which compiles a list of celebrities on Twitter.  In its list of actors, Angel is the only Filipino celebrity that has been included.  Check it out here.

With Angel's recent winning of FHM Sexiest Woman in the World title (click here for our stories), fans should check out also Angel's entry at an online men's magazine, AskMen.com.  Ranking of women in top 99 is released yearly.  Overall scores were determined by a vote from readers and staff.  I am not familiar with this site and perhaps other fans as well because if you check out Angel's information, it is outdated since 2008.
