[Fan Video] Imortal Virus - Angel Locsin and John Lloyd Cruz

I'd been wanting to create a fan video for Imortal but I could not find a song that I like.  As always, I got inspired with a  fan video for  Kim  Hyun Joong.  My version may not be as good as my model but I love them both.  If you want to check out the fanvid that inspires me, click here.

For those who are asking about creating a video, click here for the tip. As mentioned before, I'm using Windows Movie Maker. Have fun creating your own!

[Fan Video] One More Time of Kim Hyun Joong feat. Angel Locsin

Finally, I was able to create another fan video for Kim Hyun Joong and Angel Locsin as per request.  It made me smile knowing that there are some also who likes this pairing.  KHJ sings "One More Time" OST  for Playful Kiss, the Korean version of ISWAK (It Started with a Kiss) with KHJ as the lead actor.

For those who missed my first fanvid for this couple, check this video out ...

Note: For those who requested a fanvid for artists other than Angel and KHJ, please bear with me because I am not familiar with their video clips so it would take sometime for me to collect  the materials and I can't promise when would that be.

[Fan Video] After the end: Angel Locsin & Luis Manzano

Wanna share this fan video I created for Angel  Locsin and Luis Manzano.  For the lyrics of "After the end" by KC Concepcion, click here.

Posted at NlCKl's channel

Trivia: I didn't realize that "After the end" is KC's song after I completed the fan video and came to discover only when I checked the actual lyrics.  Yeah, I was more into melody than lyrics so I didn't bother checking it when I was compiling the video clips.

Netizens voted Lee Min Ho for Angel Locsin

On the poll in this blog, Lee Min Ho was voted to be the best looking South Korean celebrity screen partner for Angel Locsin.  Kim Hyun Joong was voted 2nd and Kim Jaejoong 3rd.  That poll was created  as per Angeladik's suggestion when I made a blog entry about Angel Locsin with those 3 hot S. Korean celebrities here.

The poll result mirrors Angeladik's preference because she wants Angel to get paired with taller guys although Kim Hyun Joong is not short.  My regular visitors would know I am Kim Hyun Joong bias but I am not surprised with the results because I am aware that Lee Min Ho has more Filipino followers because of his role Gu Jun Pyo in Boys Over Flowers.  To make myself feel better, let me report the current views of their music videos in youtube.  You could say I waited for it hehe ...
  1. 7,787 views - Angel Locsin and Kim Hyun Joong.  Watch here
  2. 7,618 views - Angel Locsin and Jaejoong.  Watch here
  3. 5, 524 views - Angel Locsin and Lee MinHo. Watch here

Here is the actual poll result:

Angel Locsin with South Korean Flower Boys

Although I am a self-confessed Kim Hyun Joong bias echoing Gellie de Belen's declaration here, I enjoyed watching the fan music videos of Angel Locsin with Lee Min Ho and Kim Jaejoong as well.  These three South Korean young superstars are among the most popular celebrities not only in South Korea but in neighboring Asian countries as well.  I hope that in immediate future, Angel will be given an opportunity to work with one of these flower boys.

First, I would like to commend Kim Hyun Joong including my deep appreciation for his charity works here in the Philippines.  Click here for the charity concert he performed in Araneta Coliseum, here for the P1 million pesos he donated, and here for the upcoming charity event he will be participating to help poor children in Philippines and Cambodia.

Kim Hyun Joong is known in the Philippines as Jihoo sunbae, a role he played in Boys Over Flowers (BOF).  Personally, I enjoyed more watching him in the hit reality TV show We Got Married.  I later on discovered that he is also the leader of the popular boy band SS501.  Their latest song "Love Ya" is currently ranked no. 7 at MYX Philippines Hit Chart

Here's my fan music video of Angel Locsin with Kim Hyun Joong.  The song "Love Like This" was released by SS501 before "Love Ya" and similarly got included at MYX Philippines Chart last year.

The next fan music video of Angel Locsin is with Lee Min Ho, who is more known in the Philippines as Gu Jun Pyo, a role he played in BOF as the leader of F4.  Although he started his acting career in 2006, he only attained a superstar status after his stint in BOF.  His latest drama "Personal Preference" aka "Perfect Match" is currently aired in ABS-CBN.  Video credit to TheOfficialJmGrafilo.

This last fan music video or shall I say more of a teaser was created early last year.  Kim Jaejoong is the best friend of Kim Hyun Joong and also a band member of a popular boy band DBSK.  Although I don't follow his career closely, I heard that their songs enjoyed high ranking at MYX Philippines Chart, which is not surprising since DBSK is known in South Korea to have the largest number of global fans.  Video credit to ricexxlover.

[Fans Corner] ChardGel in New York Times

I found a nice fan video in youtube created by a ChardGel (a nick for the tandem of Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin) fan. For the information of readers who are not yet aware of it, there is an ongoing petition for a ChardGel reunion. Although I have not watched any of their movies and shows, I am aware that this tandem is one of the best love teams in the Showbiz history. I am not sure if others will object to my last statement. I guess I am a bit biased because I am an avid supporter of Angel :).

Anyway for ChardGel fans, they may find it interesting that after creating the petition for a reunion, Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez both got mentioned in New York Times. Perhaps this is a good omen that their wish will be granted very soon.

Richard Gutierrez first got featured in New York Times when he saved Christine Reyes in a movie style rescue operation during Typhoon Ondoy. Click here for the story.

Angel Locsin on the other hand was mentioned in New York Times for her nomination in the 37th International Emmy Awards under the "Best Performance by an Actress" category for her lead role in Lobo (The Wolf). Click here for the New York Times story and here for our story on Angel Locsin's nomination.

Here's the chardgel fan video. Credit to welkin. I hope she will not mind if I feature her video here.

[Fans Corner] Fan Video for Angel Locsin's Emmy Nomination

I will be busy for the next few weeks and may not be online as much I as would like to. For that reason, I devoted a few hours a couple of days ago to finish the fan video I was conceptualizing as a tribute to Angel Locsin's "Best Actress" nomination in the 37th International Emmy Awards for her lead role in Lobo (The Wolf).

It took more time to complete this fanvid than it should because I ended up watching my fave scenes more. At times, I was more interested in watching Lobo than finishing the fan video itself. I miss Lyka so much since this is the first teleserye of Angel Locsin that I have watched.

Congratulations on your nomination Angel Locsin and hope you will bring home the trophy on the 23rd of November 2009. Regardless, being nominated in a prestigious international award giving body is an achievement by itself. Emmy is the equivalent of Oscar for movies and Tony for stage plays so it is a great honor to be a nominee.

I am so proud of you Angel and I am sure it is not only your fans, family and friends that feel this way but your countrymen as well!
