Hollywood vampire literature has taken a bite on Filipino primetime as ABS-CBN’s “Imortal” buried its fangs deep into the ratings game by leading the AGB Nielsen Mega Manila People Ratings.
The John Lloyd Cruz-Angel Locsin starrer that takes after the successes of the “Twilight” franchise and foreign series like “True Blood” and “Vampire Diaries” clocked in 14.1 percent against “Grazilda” (11 percent) and “Ilumina” (9.8 percent) on Nov. 1.
“Imortal’s” number even topped steady leaders from rival network “24 Oras” (14 percent) and “Survivor Philippines Celebrity Edition” (12.1 percent).
More importantly, the horror-drama’s feat meant the Kapamilya network can get the upper hand despite losing to Kapuso shows in previous weeknight tallies. Continue reading here ...
