[Videos] MMK - Litrato Episode of Angel Locsin, a Winner!

Despite of the big crowd flocking to the Ninoy Aquino Stadium to watch the PBB Double Up Finale last Saturday night, the 'Litrato' episode of Maalaala Mo Kaya (MMK) special Valentine presentation starred by Angel Locsin with Jake Cuenca is still a winner garnering 35.1% nationwide from TNS and 21.9% in mega Manila from AGB Nielsen Philippines, placing MMK at the 2nd spot among programs shown at primetime.

This is the video of Angel's guesting at E-Live last Saturday. It cracked me up when Angel first reacted on Vhong's comment, "I am Lucky to have you" than about Vhong himself. I suppose by now, my regular visitors are already aware that I like Luis Manzano for Angel :)

Finally, we will see tonight the much anticipated special appearance of Angel Locsin on the television in the number 1 drama anthology, Maalaala mo Kaya (MMK) at 8:30 PM, playing a different character with Jake Cuenca.

[Teaser] Watch Angel Locsin in MMK on the 13th

We initially reported here when Angel Locsin did the taping for the MMK (Maalaala Mo Kaya) Valentine Special episode with Jake Cuenca, which will be shown on the 13th of this month at 8:30PM at ABS-CBN network.

This episode is a light drama with moral value.

In this story, Angel and Jake both came from poor families and work as salespersons. They became close only to find out that Jake is already married with a kid. Angel's character, who plays an accidental mistress, is strong and believes in marriage so she will sacrifice her own happiness to prevent breaking up a family.

[TV] Angel Locsin Topbills MMK Valentine Special Episode with Jake Cuenca

Good news angels!

We initially reported here in October last year that Angel Locsin will be guesting in Maalala Mo Kaya (MMK). After months of waiting, we will finally see Angel in MMK with Jake Cuenca for her much anticipated performance.



In this 3rd MMK appearance, Angel will be playing an accidental mistress with a strong character who believes in sanctity of marriage and will sacrifice her own happiness to preserve a family. Jake will play the married man whom Angel loves. This MMK Valentine special episode is directed by Dado Lomibao and expected to air on 13th of February 2010.

Angel shared in her interview with ABS-CBN on 21st of January 2010 that she was too excited and not able to sleep at all a night before the taping . Her last TV assignment was 'Only You' which ended in August last year. Here are Angel's MMK-related tweets she posted before and during the taping.

In the same interview, Angel also shared that Jake's first scene on TV was with Angel herself for a teen-oriented show (Click) in 2003. Their career path crossed again in 2006 in Majika, a TV series starred by Angel, where Jake played briefly as one of Angel's lover. In this 3rd TV assignment together, Angel saw Jake's growth as an actor.

I would expect that the MMK show holds a special place in Angel's heart because her first MMK performance (Pilat episode) in 2007 earned her the PMPC Star Awards Best Actress for TV in a Single Performance. Her second MMK performance (Blusa episode) in 2009 gave her an Outstanding Featured Female Character in Drama Program Award from PPA (Philippine Psychiatric Association).
